Our studio is in Scarsdale, New York, which makes us an easy drive for families across Westchester — Bronxville, Hartsdale, Eastchester, Tuckahoe, White Plains, Rye, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, and Greenwich, CT.


Coming from the city? Scarsdale sits on the Metro-North Harlem line, roughly 35 minutes from Grand Central. Plenty of our Manhattan, Riverdale, and Brooklyn families make an easy half-day of it: train up, 15-minute session, lunch in the village, home before nap time. Free parking is available at the studio, and stroller access is no problem.


A Few Tips to Make Your 15 Minutes Count:


  • Minis move fast, so a little prep goes a long way.
  • Dress in a palette, not a uniform. Pick two or three colors that live happily together and let everyone wear their own version. Matching head to toe reads stiff; coordinating reads intentional.
  • Dress the kids last. Right before you walk out the door, ideally. Snacks and car seats are undefeated.
  • Feed everyone first. A well-fed toddler is worth more than any posing trick I know.
  • Arrive five minutes early. Coats off, hair fixed, one deep breath — then we start the clock with everyone actually ready.
  • Let your kids be your kids. Some of the best frames from last season came from a kid mid-giggle, refusing to look at the camera. Real beats perfect, every single time.


Christmas Mini Session FAQ

  • How much are Christmas mini sessions in Westchester? Our 2026 minis are $240 for a 15-minute session with 4 hand-retouched images, plus $30 per additional person or pet.
  • How far in advance should I book? As early as you can. Mini days are a fixed number of slots, and weekend and late-morning times typically go within days of release. When the available bookings are gone, they are gone for the year.
  • How long until I get my photos? Your final gallery arrives within 3 business days — in time for holiday cards if you book by early December.
  • Can we use both backdrops? Each mini session includes one backdrop and one outfit. If you'd like more variety, ask us about our longer studio sessions.
  • What ages do you photograph? Newborns through grandparents. Our minis are especially popular with families with toddlers, since 15 minutes is exactly as long as a two-year-old's patience.
  • Do you photograph pets? Yes — well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional $30.

Why Book Early

Mini session days are a fixed number of slots on a fixed number of days, and they fill in the order people book them. In Westchester, holiday minis tend to sell out well before Thanksgiving. When they're gone, they're gone until next Christmas.
