Welcoming a baby is an exciting time, but for this family, it’s also filled with overwhelming anxiety. This is their third child—their second baby passed away just hours after birth, without explanation. She was healthy throughout the pregnancy and seemed perfectly normal after delivery. They were shattered by the loss, powerless to change what happened.

Choosing to have another baby was an emotional journey, fraught with fear and hope. The mother had planned for a birth documentary, but their baby boy arrived earlier and unexpectedly. In the rush, they couldn’t give me much notice—instead, they asked me to come to the hospital to capture his fresh 48-hour newborn moments.

When I saw their tiny miracle, and the way they held him with such fierce, trembling love, I nearly cried. Their every touch, every glance, carried the weight of their past grief and their silent plea: *Not again. Please, not again.*

It’s an honor and a privilege to be the photographer documenting this story—their true emotions, their unguarded love. Life is undeniably hard, and challenges test us all. But we must hold onto hope, believing the best is yet to come.

Sending my deepest wishes to this beautiful, resilient family.
